Course Overview
The course on Penetration Testing spans 20 classes, each lasting between 30 minutes to an hour, and covers a comprehensive curriculum including the introduction, ethical and legal aspects, setting up a testing lab, reconnaissance techniques, vulnerability scanning, exploitation basics, web application testing, privilege escalation, maintaining access, covering tracks, and effective reporting. Students will learn through a mix of theory and hands-on activities, using tools like Nmap, Metasploit, and various OSINT techniques, while practicing on simulated environments like Kali Linux, DVWA, and using frameworks like OSSTMM and OWASP. The course will provide a strong foundation in penetration testing principles and practices.
